The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • In the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs-NUG and the Union Minister of Health and Education-NUG met with the Deputy Prime Minister and other Ministers of Timor-Leste.
  • On Thursday, Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that the People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) have been involved in the military operations in Northern Shan State and Mandalay Region, and they have won battles one after another.
  • Pyin Oo Lwin District PDF and Madayar Township PDF arrested 4 junta members, along with 4 guns, weapons and vehicles.
  • In a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun called for the saving of the lives of Myanmar people including children.
  • The Security and Special Task Force (SSTF) under the NUG stated that along with their alliance, they have been fighting in the second wave of the 1027 Operation in Northern Shan State and Mandalay Region.
  • Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the UN U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that Myanmar people have had to be faced with burdensome trouble due to the failure of the international community including the Security Council to take action against the military junta.

Revolution Activities

  • On Thursday, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders announced that they had to indefinitely suspend their healthcare activities in Northern Rakhine State due to too many restrictions on humanitarian services.
  • On Thursday night, the junta army conducted aerial attacks on Kyaukme and Moegoke, killing a novice and a nun along, and causing a large number of casualties.
  • In Sintku Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army shot dead a local man collecting firewood in Ayeyarwady River.
  • In Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region, the junta army carried out an aerial bombing via K-8W fighter jet on Kwe Htein Gone Village and its neighbourhood without any local battles on Thursday noon.
  • In Oatpho Township of Bago Region, Myint Naing Oo, who had been working for the junta army, was shot dead.
  • In Yinmabin North of Sagaing Region, a rally – ‘Let’s Never Get Back in This Revolution’ marched against the military dictatorship on Friday.
  • In Yinmabin Township, a local rally named Daung Thway Ni with the Flag of Victory protested against the military dictatorship.
  • In a report by the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar Tom Andrews on Thursday, it was alleged that Myanmar’s military junta have been procuring weapons and military items through the banks in Thailand.
  • Thai Foreign Minister told media that they would focus on an investigation regarding the accusation that Thai banks have been supporting Myanmar’s military junta in the procurement of weapons.
  • In Moegoke of Mandalay Region, the junta soldiers in plain clothes have been running away. As Moegoke Strategy Force is seeking to capture such soldiers, they warned the people to be cautious.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

  • In Duplaya District under Karen National Union, the KNU stated that the junta’s staff are to leave the area and there would be action against those who fail to follow the rules.
  • In Naungcho of Northern Shan State, Ta’ang National Liberation Army managed to confiscate over 350 weapons during a battle to seize the junta’s Ka-Ma-Ya (115).
  • The TNLA released the photos of illicit drugs confiscated at the junta’s Naungcho Myoma Police Station.

The Military Council

  • In Myeik, the 36th meeting of Thai-Myanmar Border Committee is being conducted. Reportedly, it was joined by the generals from the Thai Army.
  • The junta’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration blacklisted 28 companies including travel agencies, hotels and construction companies which had failed regulations for registering the entry of export income worth 500,000 USD and above.
  • On Thursday, Myanmar Banks’ Association announced that they have been cooperating in the activities against financial support for money laundering and weapon trafficking.
  • Indian Foreign Minister told the junta’s Foreign Minister that Myanmar should go back to the democratic transformation path before it is too late.
  • At the time of heavy battles between the junta army and ethnic forces in the western part of Myanmar, India called on the military junta to protect their property in the area.
  • According to the junta’s Ministry of Construction, Myanmar-Korea Friendship Dala Bridge would be finalized before the end of 2025.
  • The junta’s Myanmar Rice Federation announced that consumer packs of rice have been sold for reference prices at supermarkets and minimarts.
  • The junta’s Central Bank expressed their strong objection to the report by the UN Human Rights Council which had mentioned that international banks, state-owned banks and some private banks in Myanmar have been involved in the human rights violations and which had called for action.
