The Myanmar junta targeted the local hospital in Mindat Township, located in southern Chin State, with an airstrike on 25 April killing four patients in their hospital beds.

According to CDF-Mindat, at least four patients lost their lives in the airstrike, which occurred around 8 pm. A jet fighter conducted the attack on the No. 2 local hospital in Mindat Township, a facility that was still operational, resulting in the deaths and in the injury to numerous local people receiving treatment there.

The hospital structure sustained severe damage in the aerial assault. Documentary photographs released by CDF-Mindat vividly depict the extent of the damage.

Local reports indicate that the Military Council initiated airstrikes in various areas around No. 2 hospital at 4:30 pm on 25 April. Later that evening, another airstrike targeted the hospital.

A statement issued by CDF Mindat revealed that over the past three years since the military coup, 20 civilians, including children, have been killed, and numerous homes and religious buildings have been destroyed in Mindat Township.

CDF Mindat stated that following the coup, the Military Council, which opened war fronts across the country, primarily relied on airstrikes to attack targets.
